Class information for 2010-2011

Spanish Fork Youtheatre
2010-2011
We are so excited about our upcoming year! It will be hard to top last years production of Wizard of Oz, you all did such a fantastic job! But we feel that Annie and Robin Hood will be just the ticket. We are doing registration just a bit different this year. All registrations will be online and auditions will be held in class. Online registration will begin Monday Aug. 9th at www.reconline.spanishfork.org. Classes will be held on Wednesdays starting Sept. 1st. at Larsen Elementary 1175 E Flonette (300 S) Spanish Fork. This program runs through spring 2011 and will culminate with the presentation of two wonderful musicals. All classes will focus on musical technique, drama and dance skills, as well as give the student a chance to perform in a full scale musical with costumes, props and sets.
All students that register will be in the show.
Auditions are not necessary, but if you would like to audition for a lead or speaking part, please come prepared to read and sing a small song the first two weeks of class, otherwise you may register and we will assign your child a part.

Participants will pay a monthly fee of $40.00 per class. You will receive a discount of $5.00 per student if paid the day before the second class of the month. Each participant will also pay a lab fee of $35.00 per class, which will cover script and costume rental, and a T-shirt. Students may sign up for one or more classes.

Annie Jr.: It's upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made Annie one of the most beloved musicals in history--what girl hasn't dreamed of performing the title role or playing the outrageous Miss Hannigan? But there are plenty of wonderful roles, a house full of orphans, Daddy Warbucks, Grace, the wicked Rooster and Lily St. Regis and many more. Come and join us in this enchanting show, where the sun will come out and tomorrow is always just a day away! This class is for youth ages 5-18 and will be held on Wed. from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. We will perform in the large auditorium at Spanish Fork High school in Feb.

Robin Hood Tales of Ye Merry Woode: Deep in the heart of England treacherous Prince John and his cold hearted sister, Lady Kate are taking advantage of Good King Richard’s absence. Raising taxes and taking the bread from the mouths of their citizens. But a group of brave men are not willing to bow down to this villainy. Through humor and adventure they protect the people of England until their rightful King returns. This show is full of fun and daring parts. This class is for youth ages 5-18 and will be held on Weds. from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We will perform this in the large auditorium at Spanish Fork High school in April.

Class size will be limited. Sign up early to ensure your place.
Again Thanks for great year,
and we are looking forward to an even greater one this year!
