Spanish Fork Youtheatre 2016-2017 Season 

Wizard of Oz:

The “Wizard of Oz” is one of our favorite shows. Dorothy finds herself in Oz and with the help of Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion they melt the Witch and Help Dorothy get back to Kansas The characters they meet along the way are the Munchkins, Crows, Apple Trees, Ozians, Winkies, Flying Monkeys, (Yes Flying Monkeys), and the Jitterbugs! We also have many parts in the Kansas scene. There are so many speaking and solo parts available for both males and females. Ages 5-18.

Class: Wed. 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. (Leads will stay until 6:30 p.m.) Class held at

Annie Jr.:

Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil plans, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. With plenty of parts to go around, including featured roles as well as ensemble parts for orphans, servant and tourists There are a number of speaking and solo parts both males and females in this play. Ages 5-18.

Class: Wed. 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. At Larsen Elementary 1175 E Flonette Ave. Sept- Apr.

COST

$40.00 a month, there is a $5.00 early pay discount if paid before the 2^nd class of the month. A registration fee of $40.00 per show will also be charged. This covers costume and script rental and T-shirt.

To be registered for a class, you will need to pay the Registration Fee. Sept. tuition will be due Sept. 1^st. Classes begin Wed. Sept. 7^th.

AUDITIONS

Auditions will be held Wed. Aug. 24^th &Aug. 31^st. Between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. at Larsen Elementary. Please bring your child to one of these days so they can meet with instructors and be assigned a part. If they would like to audition for a singing role, please be prepared to sing a song of their choosing. We have music available at auditions if you would like to use ours.
